Act Tablet is a combination of Ambroxol and Cetirizine. It is used to treat cough and common allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, etc. It works by blocking a chemical substance responsible for allergic symptoms. It also helps to loosen the thick mucous and makes it easier to cough out. Act Tablet may cause some common side effects such as sleepiness, diarrhoea, dry mouth, dizziness, headache, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms stay for a long time or if they become severe. Take Act Tablet as advised by your doctor. Try not to skip a dose. However, in case of a missed dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed one. Do not double the dose to make up for a missed one. In case of an overdose, consult your doctor immediately. Avoid taking Act Tablet if you have a history of allergic to it or have experienced severe allergic reactions after taking it. Inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney diseases.
